Rubino dai riflessi granato.

Rosso granato quasi impenetrabile. SOMMELLERIE PROFESSIONALE - SP16, March-April 2011
COLMELLO ROSSO 2003 Igt Veneto Orientale: The color is deep garnet red with orange reflections, is not very clear and transparent, but still shows a fairly fluency in the glass. The intense bouquet is clearly of third level, in evolution, fine and composed of spicy notes of licorice, cinnamon, nutmeg and roasted coffee. Closes with notes of green pepper. The taste reveals a surprising acidity, tannins followed by a little 'dry but well balanced with structure and with the softness of alcohol. The finish is still fine and average length composed of a pleasant fruity and spicy. To be drunk in a fairly large goblet, uncorked a few hours before serving or decanted to accompany red meat grilled or baked cheese and hard mature cheese, at a temperature of 18-20 °C.

Ruby red garnet edge. Acute and persistent sensations you experience the nose: dark spices of pepper and cloves, humus, bitter herbs and cigars, flavored with balsamic and mineral notes. Austere and well built to the taste, with bright acidity and sumptuous tannic shoulder. Long finish. Duck breast with bacon.

Here's a blend of Merlot and Franconia (aged 48 months in oak) with straightforward aromas of cherry fruit and underbrush. The wine is smooth and offers slight sweetness followed by some sour notes on the close. (M.L.) - WE Buying Guide

1000 VINS DU MONDE 2007 – Vinalies Internationales
COLMELLO ROSSO 2000 Igt Veneto Orientale: Moletto extends up to the extreme is of the province of Trevise, there where sounds-ground of Marca Trevigiana is drained by the river Livenza. Since the invasion of the Hungarians in 912, the big woody surfaces of Trevise were reduced for the benefit of the setting-up(presence) of new farms on fertile soils. This Venetian wine adorns itself with a steady dress, similar to the velvet, then reveals an elegant freshness, in spite of its advanced age. The complex aromas of evolution appear then: prune, almond (kernel) and dried fruits accompany a round mouth.

Sensations: this champion excels in consistency and there is good balance between its closely-knit tannic structure and its fleshily mature and viscous round opulence. Tremendous sweetness evolved from its vanilla spiciness.
DUEMILAVINI 2007
3 clusters COLMELLO ROSSO 2000: Delightful nose with a peppery, mentholated hint. On the palate it offers blueberry, wild berries, cocoa, licorice and tobacco, together with a mineral savoriness that is held in balance by alcohol and smoothness. The aftertaste is clean and commendably long.

From the Colmello vineyard, this Bordeaux blend has an addictive nose of milk chocolate, clove and pine needles. Toasty flavors amid vanilla cream and raspberries are accented by an underlying earthiness. There is a complex structure that finishes soft yet rich, with velvety tannins. (W.E.) - WE Buying Guide
