RABOSO MOLETTO AT EXPO 2015

There is Moletto Raboso Doc Piave 2008 on tasting at the Expo 2015 in Milan! The thousands of visitors expected to attend the global event will discover an excellence typical of the Veneto: precisely the wine Raboso. On tasting thanks to the initiative of the Veneto Region and by the Consorzio Vini Venezia.
In VINO – A Taste of Italy Pavilion, in the Wine Library, the Veneto Region has in fact made available to Veneto Consotia enodispenser from which visitors can tap and taste, through an experience that will involve the 5 senses, the excellent wines of Veneto. Also present some sommelier to guide visitors during the tasting, while rolling screens will project images and videos on Veneto DOC.
For two months, until 30 June, the wine Moletto Raboso Doc Piave 2008, excellence among native grapes from the Veneto, will be offered to visitors who come to Expo from all over the World.
Visitors  will have the opportunity to discover a very old wine, of which there are documented citations of Jacopo Agostinetti in 1679. In fact, the variety is much older, dates back to the wine that the ancient Romans called Pucinum. During the era of the Venetian Republic, whose economy was largely based on trades by sea, the Raboso wine, thanks to its composition strongly tannic, was the only one who could pass unscathed the long journeys, preserving its characteristics.
Today Moletto Raboso Doc Piave 2008, who’s color is an impenetrable ruby-red, is a  wine of extreme elegance to the nose, from which it captures the characteristic sour note that characterizes the variety.
A wine of character, not too tannic with a soft and non-intrusive wood. It's true that the wood, by its aging in oak barrels, is an “optional” in wine making that has become an integral part of the wine making it fully balanced. Visitors will surely appreciate it to Expo 2015.
