Ingredients: 350 g all purpose flour, 80 g butter, 150 g sugar, 2 egg yolks, grated peel of 1 lemon, pinch of salt, envelope baking powder, 1 kg cooking apples.
To prepare: Beat the egg yolks with the sugar, add the salt, butter that has been melted in a double boiler, flour and, finally, the baking powder.
Add ¾ of the apples to the batter, spread into a greased cake pan and decorate with the remaining apples. Bake at 180°C for approx. 45 minutes.
