APPLE AND PEAR CAKE

Ingredients: 200 g all purpose flour, 200 g sugar, 2 eggs, a glass of milk, pinch of salt, 1 envelope baking powder, 1/2 kg cooking apples, 1/2 kg pears.
To prepare: Beat the eggs yolks with the sugar, then add the salt, milk, flour and baking powder and, finally, the egg whites beaten to stiff peaks.
Cut the fruit into thin slices and add to the batter and spread it into a greased cake pan. Bake at 180°C for approx. 45 minutes.
